I think yes, because our community already has sophisticated "community information network" that involves many forms face-to-face interaction at events such as meetings and conferences and technology-assisted interaction. We used to interact through the convenience of anywhere, anytime email and text-based conferencing.
And lastly we use networking technologies in our daily routine and our community is now technology-assisted interaction such as telephone, television, radio, and other familiar communications tools.
